I have something to say

This is going to be offensive to some people. As such, if you are one of those people that let your panties get in a bunch easily; quit reading now. I told you to stop. You should really exit my page. Okay, I warned you. First off - I believe in the Bible. I believe what it says.  Jesus is my BFF4L&E <--- this should totally be a new thing - best friend for life and eternity. Girls should write that on their notes to their Christian friends. Wait do kids write notes anymore?  They probably just text it or Instagram it now... strokes of genius at 2:00 a.m.  All of that means this - I know the Bible says "an eye for an eye", I also know that in Matthew this is followed by "But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other one also".  I also understand that we are not to use cruel and unusual punishment. So, if after reading the remainder of this, you feel the need to tell me any of the above, just do not do it. I am not interested in arguing. Because quite frankly this is my blog and you do not have to read it. I gave you plenty of warning. 

I am sure everyone knows about Clayton Lockett at this point. If you do not, it is really weird that you are current enough to know how to read a blog. Anyways, it has been made clear to us that this murderer suffered for twenty minutes.  Stephanie Neiman was shot twice and buried alive. No one but her and God know how long she suffered.  To those of you who are sharing the story of this murderer's death on Facebook - please stop essentially glorifying his death. Shame on you. Shame on you for taking away what could possibly be closure for innocent parents. Shame on you for glorifying a killer.  Shame on you for being more concerned about his twenty minutes than what Stephanie endured, which I am sure was much longer. Shame on you for not being concerned with how long her parents and family have suffered.  Shame on you for not being concerned with the guilt those innocent parents have felt all these years (could we have kept her home that night, could we have saved her if we had been there).  I have seen one article on Facebook about Stephanie. Do you know how many times I have seen Clayton Lockett's face? Countless!  

Yes, the execution process will obviously have to be fixed. Who even knows if we will even continue with executions after this, there is no telling how this will be resolved. But please, quit it with the sob story on his twenty minutes of suffering.  I am sorry for his family and friends that had to watch him suffer if they chose to attend the execution; however, they have had years to deal with what he did and have known about the execution.  Of course they should not have had to witness it happening the way they did; but why don't we focus on the actual victims?  Stephanie, her parents, her family, her friends as well as Clayton's family, parents and friends deserve our attention at this time, not the murderer.
