Blogging and Jogging with Amy D.: About Me

My name is Amy and I live in the great state of Oklahoma! I am a mom, wife, daughter, sister and friend. I am a working mom trying to balance life. I started this blog because I had become a closet blog stalker and really wanted one of my own. I am realizing how neat it really is as I create and learn more about the blog world. Not only do I think that I have to workout because I want to be able to post about my workout, but this is an awesome forum to chronicle the happenings in my little family's life. I have discovered that I like to post about many different things - workouts, cooking, the thoughts in my head (scary), and I am sure the list will continue to grow.

My family is the most important thing in my life. I love being with them. We all have very hectic schedules and sometimes finding a day to just be together at home is difficult. We try to seize every moment and make the most of it.

My lovelies:

I suppose we should start with the husband, J. He supports me no matter what. We married in April of 2008. He not only married me (which is a full time job), but he took on the role of step-dad to my most precious daughter, E. We like to refer to him as SSD (super step-dad).

Next my sassy eight year old, E. Oh my, girlfriend has found her attitude. She is precious and the best thing that could have ever happened to me at 21 years old. I referenced above that my husband is her step-dad. Her dad and step-mom are very involved in her life as well. Frankly, she's spoiled by four parents that love her to pieces.

Update: The sassy eight year old is now 13. Wow.

Finally, my almost two year old, D. He is the most ornery and cutest boy in the world. Can that happen? Well, it did with D-man. Check it.

Update: the most ornery and cutest boy in the world is now seven! Older than his sister was when he was born. Wait? How old does that make me? We won't talk about that.
