Bras and Cute Kids

I wore a sports bra to work in hopes that I will get a good workout in today.  I have been sticking with my Lent and doing something every day.  Crunches on the ball, arm weights, lunges, calf raises that kind of stuff.  But, I want to get in something more today.  So, I'm thinking if I already have my sports bra on, there is more of a chance that I will get a good workout in.  Here's the deal - I hate putting these things on, yes this is a reflection on my level of laziness...  I will  let you know if this approach actually works for me.

I am really hurting without my treadmill, guys.  I have sent in a maintenance request and the company called me within an hour.  However, they want me to be by the treadmill.  I was not by my treadmill, I was at work. So, I've got to get home, by the treadmill, with my head clear and have it somewhat quiet by 5:00 to call them.  That is a workout in itself.

The next important thing that I must update everyone on is the fact that I have the cutest and sweetest kids.




When J is not home, I let them sleep with me some of the nights.  The other night when I went to bed they were still holding hands in their sleep:

I Have Friends

02/17/13: Neighborhood
3.08 miles in 38:30 which gives me a 12:31 average mile.  Same pace as my last outside run.  Funny.

Lent is going well.  I have had no queso and I have gotten in some sort of exercise every day.  Not as much exercise as I should but at least it is something.  

Now, on to the important stuff.  I have three friends logging on Lose It!  That's right.  I know deep down that they are sympathy friends, but I don't care!  That's right, I got two more.  One of them is my cousin and well, she is related to me and knows I will never go away and my other friend sits next to me all day every day at work.

I Kicked Fat Tuesday in the Face ...

By being a fatty.  I cannot confirm or deny whether or not I ate a dozen cookies...  It happened, oh well.  So, Lent starts today.  Bring.  It.  On.

Here, my friends, are my final decisions on Lent:

1. No queso

2. I will workout every day.  Even if it is just lunges - I have to do something every day.

02/13/13:  Living room
35 minutes of Pilates with my home girl Denise Austin.  It has been a looong time since I pulled that DVD out.  My legs and arms feel like jelly.  Good sign!

No New Friends...

On Lose It!  Sad story.  Maybe one day.  Come on peeps, you know you want to count calories with me.

It's been a hot minute since my last post.  I don't really know what I've been doing!

Over the weekend Husband and I had a date night.  Woot Woot!  We went to the JSL Gala with our good friends CB and Z.  It was kind of like grown up prom.  Here are some photos of us all snazzy.
