Friday Favorites

Hello, Happy Friday!

As always, the fact that today is Friday is definitely a favorite.  Weekend, here I come!

Everyone knows that Monday was Martin Luther King Day.  D had been pumped about "Dr. Martin Lufer King Day" since he went back to school after the break.  He referred to it only as "Dr. Martin Lufer King Day", there was no abbreviating his name at all,  it was so cute.  He can also tell you all about Martin Luther King's life, listening to him talk about something historical that he learned at school was definitely a favorite.  At the end of the day he said "oh, mom, I forgot to tell you happy Dr. Martin Lufer King Day" I love that kid.

I was off work as were the kids so my mom and I took the kids to see Paddington 2.

It was fun, just like the first one.  Even E (the cool teenager) enjoyed it.

Next up is a big, lifetime favorite.  I am re-watching Friends.

The reason for this is threefold.  Anyone get that???  1.  I needed a nighttime show to watch.  2.  Every episode makes me laugh at least once.  3.  I have seen them all so if I fall asleep it is okay.  (I worked hard on this, I really hope someone remembers the episode with the box...)

And finally I present to you a really big favorite for me right now.  I held off on posting about this because I thought my love/obsession may fade.  It did not.  Have you seen The Greatest Showman?  If not, you need to - like yesterday.  I laughed, I cried, I was happy, I was sad.  All.  The.  Feels.  Hugh Jackman - how could you go wrong?  Zac Efron - he grew up and can still sing.  Zendaya - hey, she is not on Sh Sh Shake it Up anymore and is very talented.  Keala Settles - She is amazing and I feel that she is really a good person and friend (yes, I am summarizing this from a movie and YouTube videos).  Michelle Williams - beautiful and again, how could you go wrong; I also did not know she could sing.  I cannot stop thinking about this movie and listening to the soundtrack.  So, so good, you guys.  Both of my kids loved it as well.

That is all for this week.  Happy weekend, everyone!

  2. I bet my niece would love Pennington 2. I loved Friends when it was originally on, but I haven't watched the show since then. Your blog post is making me want to go back and re-watch it!
